Just like the iceberg it is easy to identify that you are looking for ways to make money from home or have your own home based business. The bigger and often harder questions are below the surface.

My own home based business journey started, when I was 23 - with a new baby in tow, walking our local neighbourhood delivering Avon brochures. This was my intro to the world of a work-from-home mum.
Then came the feelings of guilt when leaving our children with a babysitter (even if it was only for one day!) to do party plan or a day at head office.
Even so, over the years it became a common sight to see me at home with my hands in the sink and the phone to my ear making a business call. Enjoying our children's first steps; being there in their teenage years when, in the moment, the short but crucial conversation snippets occurred - made possible because I worked from home.
These are the joys of having your own home based business - where you call the shots. Despite the fact that at times I had to 'go out' or more more recently I can now 'stay in' and still make the money - the flexibility, for me, has been priceless.
Over the years I have put my hand to many things, a mum who developed a home based business that created a passive or residual income from network marketing, finding balance and successfully blending time, money and family.
However, the problem is finding a business based around integrity one that
- you can trust, one you can build without loosing your friends and family.
- Ultimately will give you a solid 'passive' or 're-occurring' income for the long haul - genuinely.
- A way to make money without violating your integrity.
- Create a business without the hype and phoney gimmicks
- Get your message across without being pushy.
- Inspire your customers to take the action you want them to take and you know they need to take.
